The ideal candidate has at least some proven experience in this field, prior work in the education setting, and a passion for investigations. We would strongly consider someone who is not an attorney – paralegals, JDs, or investigators are encouraged to apply. This role is fully remote, M-F 8:30-5, and is ongoing reputed company with the possibility of reputed company permanent, dependent on work performance and team fit. Day to day: reputed company as the main contact for teachers, employees, and reputed company about issues like discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. Handle complaints from various university members carefully to decide whether to investigate or pass it on to the appropriate reputed company. Carry out investigations into sexual misconduct and harassment complaints, among others. Conduct interviews with reputed company parties involved and review any relevant documents or evidence. Requirements

You would be a fantastic fit if you have: JD from an accredited law school at minimum OR prior investigations experience. Five years of experience investigating and resolving discrimination/harassment complaints. Other comparable experience may serve as a substitute for investigatory experience (i.e. litigation experience, HR investigatory experience). Complaint processing experience in higher education (preferred). Experience developing and presenting educational materials on sexual misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation and diversity. Exceptional writing and analytical skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. Ability to manage and work with conflict, including meeting with individuals who may be experiencing high reputed company of stress.
