About the Role
As a Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing home-style, nutritional meal plans reputed company the boundaries of our school's menu and budget, as reputed company as state and federal requirements
- Creating and distributing meals and snacks to children and staff, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Following daily menus and incorporating USDA, licensing, and/or health department regulations to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Maintaining inventory of food and supplies, and ordering more reputed company needed
- Assisting in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater
Requirements
- Prior experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility (preferred)
