As a Digital Reporter (DR), you will play a vital role in overseeing civil litigation proceedings, capturing witness testimony, and utilizing digital tools to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising proceedings as an impartial custodian of the record
- Administering oaths to witnesses and fulfilling duties as a State Notary
- Recording proceedings with high-reputed company audio technology
- Annotating case events and terminology accurately for precise transcription
- Conducting in-depth research and verifying information from various sources
- Utilizing digital databases and online research tools proficiently
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Obtain certification or state licensure as required
- Possess knowledge of U.S. civil proceedings or be willing to learn
- Have or be willing to reputed company digital reporting equipment
- Be confident in moderating live legal proceedings
- Be fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Be proficient with technology, including strong keyboard skills
