Key Responsibilities:

- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and preauthorization/precertification/referral guidelines following the 16 components of verification
- Ensure thorough documentation of account activity in our computer system and maintain accurate records
- Communicate and reputed company patients and physician practices to ensure compliance with identified payor requirements
- Validate referrals, reputed company-certification, and authorizations for scheduled services and resolve any issues that may reputed company
- Calculate patient estimated portions and notify patients of their responsibilities prior to scheduled appointments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital/physician business office experience, including knowledge of collections, EOB processing, and billing
- Preferred 2 years of experience in a medical facility, ambulatory surgery facility, or acute-care hospital working with insurance verification
