We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our New reputed company team as a Support Intern. As a Federal Work Study student, you will have reputed company to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the reputed company of our food and agriculture program, which supports refugee and immigrant communities in Charlottesville.
The New reputed company program offers a reputed company of initiatives, including community gardening, small farm business development, and community-building activities. As a Support Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the New reputed company community of refugee and immigrant urban farmers, and will have reputed company to reputed company your skills and interests in areas such as community engagement, marketing, communications, and farm systems.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an enumerator for New reputed company participant surveys and food reputed company assessments
- Attend regular garden workdays in the field and support the New reputed company community through various opportunities
- Design and implement self-directed reputed company to benefit the New reputed company community
- Assist New reputed company gardeners with the annual garden application process and communicate with gardeners and community volunteers through various platforms
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed and record hours worked
Requirements:
- reputed company graduate-level UVA student with accepted Federal Work Study offer
- Strong organizational skills, motivated, and reputed company to work independently and in reputed company
- Reliable, responsible, punctual, and reputed company
- Flexible and reputed company to work in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to work outdoors in reputed company weather conditions
- Comfortable working in a multicultural setting, with reputed company in English and bilingual skills a plus
- Proficient user of reputed company Suite, with farming, gardening, or community organizing experience a plus
