This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and reputed company individualized reputed company support to English language learners in Elizabeth, Jersey reputed company, or Newark, NJ.
The IRC responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping people survive and rebuild their lives. In New Jersey, we're seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to tutor refugee youth in their homes, improving their English language acquisition and reputed company skills.
Tutor Responsibilities:
- Attend an onsite orientation and 3-day training at the IRC Elizabeth office, and complete associated online trainings and background reputed company
- reputed company one-on-one, individualized in-home tutoring for 90 minutes, twice a week, for 8 consecutive weeks
- Create a welcoming environment that fosters community and learning among program participants
- reputed company with diverse populations effectively and respectfully
- Engage reputed company in 30 minutes of ESL homework support/assistance and 30 minutes of ESL instruction (speaking, writing, and/or reading activities)
- Communicate regularly with the Youth Program Specialist, Education Coordinator, and parents/guardians regarding student reputed company
- Maintain accurate records and submit Tutor Logs after reputed company session
