Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Title 1 Paraprofessional - Class Assistant to join our reputed company educational community in Thornton, CO. As a Title 1 Paraprofessional - Class Assistant, you will work closely with reputed company, teachers, and staff to:
- Assist reputed company with classroom activities and implement teacher instruction plans
- reputed company individualized and small-group tutoring to ensure mastery of subjects
- Supervise reputed company during remote learning periods, breaks, and reputed company
- Assist teachers with preparing materials, administering tests, and grading
- Monitor student behavior and ensure a reputed company and secure learning environment
- Communicate with parents, staff, and teachers as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One of the following: AA or 2-year college degree, 48 college semester hours, or passing of a state CDE-approved paraprofessional examination
- No experience required, but experience working with school-age children is preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish required for Dual Language Program
- Criminal background reputed company and First Aid certification required
