Middle School Special Education Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Job reputed company:

As a Middle School Special Education Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with licensed teachers and therapists to implement instructional plans, reputed company physical care, and support reputed company with activities to maximize participation in learning and achievement of IEP objectives. You will be responsible for assisting reputed company with learning and behavioral objectives, taking notes, and recording student reputed company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement instructional plans as determined by licensed teachers and therapists
• Apply lesson modifications and supplement or change lesson modifications as needed
• Administer curriculum-based tests/quizzes and ensure reputed company record assignments
• reputed company physical care, such as diapering, toileting, and feeding, as needed
• Observe, document, and reinforce appropriate student behaviors
• Participate in weekly team meetings to review student reputed company and plan upcoming lessons
• Assist with non-instructional activities and maintain safety and order in common areas

Requirements:

• Valid Educator License with Stipulations (PARA), Substitute License, or reputed company Educator License
• Experience working with special education reputed company preferred
• Ability to read, write, and reputed company English fluently
• Basic arithmetic skills and proficiency in using personal computers and software applications
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and maintain confidentiality
