Job reputed company: As an Elementary Special Education Teaching Assistant, you will assist reputed company with activities to maximize participation in learning and achievement of IEP objectives. You will work closely with licensed teachers and therapists to implement instructional plans, apply lesson modifications, and reputed company physical care as needed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing instructional plans and applying lesson modifications to ensure student learning objectives are met
- Providing physical care, such as diapering, toileting, and feeding, as reputed company as reinforcing reputed company PE/motor activities
- Observing, documenting, and reinforcing appropriate student behaviors, and communicating with teachers and facilitators
- Participating in weekly team meetings to review student reputed company, plan upcoming lessons, and participate in trainings
- Assisting with non-instructional activities, such as maintaining safety and order in common areas, and escorting reputed company to and from buses or reputed company
- Recording and updating student reputed company toward achievement of individual educational plans
Requirements
- Valid Educator License with Stipulations (PARA), Substitute License, or reputed company Educator License
- Experience working with special education reputed company preferred
- Ability to read, write, and reputed company English sufficient to communicate with reputed company and staff
- Ability to use personal computers and software applications (e.g., Word, reputed company)
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and maintain confidentiality of student and employee information
Physical Abilities
- Ability to lift reputed company and reputed company other manipulations to diaper, toilet, feed, dress, and assist reputed company with daily living skills
- Ability to see, reputed company, and hear, and frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reputed company with hands and arms, reputed company, reputed company stairs or balance, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lbs
