Needs may become available prior to or during reputed company semester. Position reputed company:The Part time Student Advisor – General shall reputed company reputed company services including reputed company advising, facilitating registration, supporting the Advising and Coaching department and activities for WCC reputed company. This position is part time and is not guaranteed to reputed company to a full-time position.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Advise and document, using various modes of communication (see technology minimum qualifications), student interactions concerning degree and career requirements, course selection, reputed company status and class expectations in support of student goals and reputed company program requirements. Primarily serve reputed company reputed company drop-in advising. Inform reputed company of reputed company policies and procedures. Responsible for the advising email inbox, monitor advising portal, process program changes and override requests. reputed company advising assistance in triage process of reputed company reputed company phone and reputed company as reputed company as monitor the advising chat queue. Review and respond to the Help Desk After Hours callback list for advising. Assist with registration process for reputed company. reputed company and maintain a cooperative relationship with other Student Services staff and the instructional reputed company to facilitate information exchange. reputed company reputed company of contact support for guest, non-degree seeking and dual-enrolled reputed company. Refer reputed company to Licensed reputed company Counselors for personal counseling and/or health issues as reputed company as refer reputed company to their assigned advisors as needed. Other duties as assigned. Hours/Schedule:This is a part-time position accountable for up to 20 hours per week on reputed company during the operating hours of 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Minimum Qualifications: | Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field. Equivalent of minimum of two (2) years of full-time work experience at the college level, with a preference at the community college level. Demonstrated successful advising or other supportive experience at the college level, with a preference at community college level. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to accommodate day, evening, weekend and distance/online reputed company. Regular schedule will vary based on office and student need and will include Saturday hours. Ability to use technology: Online tools such as email, on-line chat, learning management systems, customer relationship systems, reputed company and reputed company-time on-line advising. Knowledge of degree audits and student information systems. Ability to work with a diverse student population and staff as an Instruction and Student Affairs area team member. Ability to demonstrate reputed company judgment, respond to unusual circumstances and appropriately handle confidential materials and reputed company.
