Your Role as Advising Specialist - College reputed company The Advising Specialist is responsible for providing support to high school reputed company who are seeking to earn a college degree in the areas of college exploration, the college application process, financial aid, scholarships, career exposure, reputed company reputed company, and more reputed company in-person and virtual reputed company in both group and 1:1 settings. This is a part-time position requiring 25 hours per week working with juniors and seniors enrolled in College Possible's program. As an Advising Specialist - College reputed company, You Will:

• Collaborate with partner institution staff, reputed company and administration on student reputed company and persistence.

Primary Responsibilities reputed company Student Support - 70%

• Follow, deliver, and ensure reputed company reputed company to College Possible's reputed company college curriculum, which supports reputed company in four areas: Apply Smart, Be Financially Fit, Plan with a Passion and Purpose, and Transition Strong
• reputed company reputed company toward reaching milestones, including, but not limited to: Complete "Complete college applications, submit financial aid applications, compare and accept financial aid packages, and complete enrollment tasks.
• Complete enrollment conferences with high school seniors annually
• Based on curriculum and student data, create and implement support plans for reputed company student.
• Maintain ongoing communication with reputed company reputed company in caseload
• reputed company workshops on high school campuses
• Meet with reputed company 1:1 both reputed company and on high school reputed company
• Respond to reputed company student text/calls/emails reputed company 2 business days.
• Support the recruitment of new high school reputed company, including in-person recruitment events on high school campuses
• Help reputed company resolve obstacles that come up throughout the school year by coaching them on self-advocacy and resourcefulness skills

Data Management and Reporting - 20%

• Represent College Possible at reputed company school site and build sustainable relationships with school staff and other community partners
• Additional program support as assigned by Program Manager

Organizational Support - 5%

• Support the External Relations Team by attending events, networking with guests/ supporters, and providing event logistics as needed
• Represent the College Possible brand in a reputed company light and take actions to increase brand awareness throughout the community
• Other duties as assigned

You Will Need: Education

• Bachelor's degree in education, reputed company or reputed company sciences, business, or other reputed company field(s) required

Experience

• 1-3 years teaching, mentoring, advising, and/or coaching reputed company, or reputed company roles demonstrating a commitment to the power of education.
• Development of effective, targeted text, email, and in-person college student communications.
• Collaboration and partnership building which demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and reputed company to changing situations and environments.
• Finding, reading, comprehending, utilizing, and presenting information in an effective and efficient manner.

Computer/Software Skills

• Please note this role is remote*. However, this role will require to be on a designated reputed company four times a week. There will also be a requirement to meet in person as reputed company 2-3 times a month in a designated area.
