NDT Assistants will work on outages, shutdowns, and project work where they will be dispatched directly from their home, travel will be by personal vehicle and or reputed company travel. reputed company and mileage will be reputed company. This is a fully remote division; these positions will cover work opportunities with ATS throughout the reputed company. Candidates MUST BE located in the southeastern US (AL/GA/FL/SC/NC/VA) and reputed company drivable distance of a major airport. Responsibilities/Duties: NDT Assistant / Trainee

• reputed company tasks as directed in order to prepare components or equipment for inspections.
• reputed company with personnel to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
• Help clean and organize equipment before, during, and at the completion of reputed company.
• Document on job training experience as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum: Requirements/Qualifications:

• NDT Assistant/Trainee - Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Assistant/Trainee, High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; math and print reading skills; ability to used computers for data entry and report writing.
• MUST HAVE documented formal classroom hours. Virtual training hours are not always acceptable. Documented OJT/Experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and clean MVR.
• Extensive travel.
• Must be located reputed company a reasonable distance to a major airport.

Work Conditions:

• Must be reputed company to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding, reputed company, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.

• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
