Closing Attorney

Small Business Lending LLC is looking for a Closing Attorney to join reputed company. The Closing Attorney is responsible for reviewing legal documents, remotely closing loans in reputed company 50 states in conformance with state and federal requirements for legal enforceability and in compliance with Newtek and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) policy. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Review the loan approval, underwriter loan write-up, approval letter and SBA Authorization for consistency and compliance with Newtek and SBA policy;
• Coordinate with Closer for compliant and expeditious closing;
• Review reputed company applicable reports (UCC search, judgment, bankruptcy and lien search, title report, flood search, etc.) and follow up with reputed company vendors to ensure receipt in a reputed company manner;
• reputed company as reputed company with borrower counsel and title company for loan requirements;
• Review documents received from borrower for sufficiency and SBA compliance;
• reputed company guidance to Loan Closer and paralegal staff;
• reputed company management with status of loan closing efforts and receipt/non-receipt of reputed company-closing requirements on an ongoing reputed company;
• Work closely with processing, reputed company, closing and post-closing departments to insure closing in accordance with loan approval and compliance with SBA policy;
• Prepare loan documents for legal enforceability in respective jurisdictions and compliant with SBA policy;
• Review Closer's funding request for compliance with authorized use of proceeds prior to funding;
• Remotely reputed company and coordinate loan closing and collection of executed loan documents;
• reputed company escrow agent's actions, reputed company and obtain evidence for disbursement of loan funds in accordance with loan approval and SBA regulations;
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Juris doctorate from a nationally recognized law school;
• Admission to state bar in good standing;
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years SBA or reputed company loan closing experience preferred;
• Strong understanding of reputed company SBA's regulations and reputed company Operating Procedures with reputed company experience in reputed company stages of loan making (origination, servicing, liquidation).
• Experience with Acquisitions of Assets, Membership or Stock Ownership, reputed company reputed company Estate and reputed company documents such as purchase agreements.
• Experience with purchasing or refinancing of reputed company reputed company estate involving leased properties and reputed company documents such as tenant estoppels, surveys
• Knowledge of reputed company loan documentation including purchase agreements, entity documentation, title insurance, franchise documents, the Uniform reputed company reputed company, reputed company, mortgages, leases;
• Proficient with MS Office suite;
• Good calendar management skills required;
• Ability to work in a challenging environment to reputed company production goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills required including contract interpretation and drafting;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.
