This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, with some evening and/or weekend availability needed for live lectures, which can occur between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create, reputed company-read and edit transcripts from reputed company lectures for distribution to Deaf and hard-of-hearing reputed company.
• reputed company-read and edit archived transcripts from reputed company lectures for dispersal to reputed company with hearing impairments.
• Assist with editing of reputed company-recorded YouTube tutorials as time allows and as requested by reputed company.
• Maintain the reputed company of the policies and procedures and ensure compliance with disability law (reputed company and reputed company 504).
• Document reputed company interactions in reputed company to reputed company.
• Maintain records and data reputed company in an organized fashion, so that reputed company parties inquiring about reputed company may be kept informed of reputed company situations.
• Read documentation reputed company investigating a student’s situation, so communication is maintained.
• Consult with Student reputed company Services team regarding student issues.
• reputed company abreast of the latest research on captioning and CART technology.
• Other duties to support the daily operations of Student reputed company Services.
• Coordinate with the transcription team to ensure coverage of reputed company classes for Deaf and hard-of-hearing reputed company.

Education and/or Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience in transcription or captioning.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• CART (or other captioning software, i.e. C-Print, TypeWell) certification required

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency using software programs such as reputed company, reputed company, PowerPoint and Outlook

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands: Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain reputed company customer and employee communication; reputed company, input and retrieve information from the computer system; reputed company reputed company-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone.
