Herndon Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a reputed company-rounded, reputed company recreation reputed company to plan, recruit staff and reputed company programs and events. You will reputed company instructional recreation classes, such as martial arts, wellness and gymnastics/cheer, teen travel camp, and community events, including arts and crafts shows and July 4th festivities. You must demonstrate your ability to work reputed company with community and volunteer organizations. This position includes budgeting, hiring and supervising seasonal staff, managing assigned programs and details, purchasing, volunteer management, evaluation, and more. In this position, you will support the Town of Herndon by:

• Developing and delivering classes, activities, community and family events, recreational and out of school programs.
• Improving existing programs and developing diverse new activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in recreation or closely reputed company field is highly desired.
• 3 years of experience in parks and recreation environment.
• CPR and first aid certification is desired.
• Broad knowledge of and experience in developing recreation programs
• Enthusiasm for the hard prep work that results in smiling participants
• Characteristics of public servanthood and an understanding of local government operations
