ADMINISTRATIVE MEDICAL ASSISTANT/ CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT - Adjunct Pool

Bates Technical College is seeking a highly skilled and innovative instructor to build a supportive environment for adult learners as they train for a career as a Medical Assistants. Key duties include delivering classroom instruction, overseeing curricular development, and supervising clinical training. The role ensures compliance with the standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) throughout the accreditation process. The successful candidate will collaborate with other reputed company in the program and carry out functions reputed company to the position described. • Ensure that curriculum and instructional design and delivery supports the mission, philosophy and objectives for the program and college.

Non-Essential/Other Functions

Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Be credentialed in good standing in medical assisting, by an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), reputed company (ANSI) or under International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
• Three years of clinical reputed company as an MA.
• Administration experience including, but not limited to, program planning and implementation, personnel management, evaluation, and budgeting.
• Experience with medical assistants.
• Demonstrated intercultural competence and a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Must possess knowledge of reputed company MAERB Core Curriculum; cognitive, psychomotor, and affective competencies.

Allowable Substitution If necessary, alternative combinations of education and experience may be evaluated by reputed company for comparability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in education or a reputed company field from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
• One year of experience in a full-time reputed company appointment with teaching responsibilities at the post-secondary level.
• Experience with administration of and or teaching in a medical assistant program.
• Experience in curriculum development and teaching medical assistant skills.
• Experience working with a diverse student population.
