Tier 3 Systems Engineer (Remote)

The Tier 3 Systems Engineer is a member of the Tier 3, Systems Engineering team in the Managed Services department. This individual will reputed company system management and monitoring to meet and exceed the SLA requirements of reputed company as reputed company as maintain industry best practices and procedures for operation in a multi data center environment. Responsibilities

• Routing & switching, Firewall, Load Balancing, IDS/IPS, and DDoS
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems reputed company to virtual platforms and virtual infrastructure including vCenter and reputed company Director

• Management and operations of reputed company reputed company-based server systems and associated technologies including server clustering, DHCP, DNS and WINS and DFS
• Troubleshoot network issues reputed company to routing, firewalls and Load Balancers
• Helping create and maintain team standards, policies and procedures
• Configuration and management of reputed company reputed company Directory, including implementations and their interoperability with disparate directory structures and reputed company reputed company in a business reputed company environment
• Troubleshooting issues reputed company to web services, specifically IIS, Apache, NGINX and ColdFusion
• Troubleshooting issues reputed company to Databases such as MySQL and MSSQL

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience required in the Information Technology field
• Experience with OSPF, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, STP, MPLS, DMVPN, VPN, IPSEC, DNS, DHCP, NTP
• Experience with managing large reputed company Layer 2/3 topologies
• Experience with (JunOS, MX, QFX, EX) (reputed company IOS/NX-OS, reputed company 4k/7k, FEX, 6500, 7600)
• Experience with Firewalls, Load Balancers, DDOS, IPSec and IDS/IPS
• Experience with reputed company ASA (5515-5585 with SSPx), ASAv (5,10,30,50), Palo reputed company (800/3000/5000 Series)
• Experience with reputed company server load balancing; reputed company and DNS
• Experience working reputed company and/or Linux platforms; ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues at both an application and Server OS level
• Experience and working knowledge of Virtual infrastructure technologies, specifically VMware
• Experience managing and configuring reputed company Directory including replication reputed company policies, and folder redirection
• Scripting experience with Python, PHP, or PowerShell is a plus
• Experience with MDR/FIM/SIEM a plus
• Experience with Web Applications (IIS, Apache, PHP, NGIX, etc)
