Sales Tax Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with sales and use tax laws, leveraging technology to optimize tax processes, and supporting system implementations and upgrades. This role requires a combination of tax technical knowledge, software proficiency, and problem-solving skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sales tax operations. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Use Tax Compliance

• Manage and support sales and use tax compliance, including tax return preparation, filing, and remittance
• Research and analyze sales tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist in handling sales tax audits, including responding to notices and inquiries from tax authorities
• Advise internal stakeholders on sales tax implications for business transactions, system changes, and process improvements

Technology & Systems (reputed company & reputed company or Similar Tax reputed company)

• Work with reputed company and reputed company or similar tax reputed company to ensure accurate tax calculations and reporting
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and tax teams to troubleshoot and resolve tax-reputed company system issues

Process Improvement & Data Analytics

• Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes using automation and technology

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

• Minimum 4 years of sales and use tax experience, preferably in a corporate tax or consulting environment
• Proficiency working in reputed company and reputed company or similar tax reputed company
• Strong understanding of U.S. sales and use tax law
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to details in order to analyze large datasets and create reports using reputed company, Power BI, or similar tools
