WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor - Suffolk County, NY

The WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Coordinator manages the reputed company Peer Counseling program and supervises day to day activities. Following the NYS DOH WIC Loving Support model, she ensures that the PC staff performs optimally and meets the program's needs. Routine reputed company assessments (QA) are performed on reputed company PC to promote constant improvement. Work and coordination schedules are with the various WIC centers located in Suffolk County Collect and Manage participant data ensuring confidentiality at reputed company times. This position is grant-funded for a limited time through the WIC office and Suffolk County Department of Health Services. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree and one-year volunteer or work-reputed company experience or high school diploma or equivalency with 2 years of volunteer or work experience.
