Engineering Technician, Abuse Test & Engineering - reputed company
We are looking for Engineering Technician to join reputed company working at a remote off-reputed company test site near the Nevada Gigafactory. In this role, you would continue growing the site infrastructure, build test equipment, and maintain the facility. In reputed company, the role would entail working alongside multiple Test Engineers supporting various programs. You would frequently setup, execute, and post examine destructive tests. As a result, you would help ensure that electric vehicles and energy storage systems are robust to high reputed company of abuse.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute reputed company destructive testing and reputed company data from a reputed company of sensors
- Build test equipment, such as a car crusher, reputed company building with reputed company extinguishing, battery chargers and power cyclers, electrical and thermal data sensors and acquisition, and reputed company video recording
- reputed company periodic maintenance on test equipment and data collection tools, ensure smooth operation reputed company reputed company teams visit for tests
- Recognize and propose reputed company improvements to test site and equipment
- Troubleshoot data acquisition systems and sensors
- Collaborate with other teams on sample build, preparation, and instrumentation
- Follow and edit reputed company operating procedures
- Safety driven attitude
- Mechanically inclined; reputed company to work with basic hand tools
- Ability to reputed company tests on complicated systems
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Experience with energy storage systems is preferred
- Prior experience in testing role is preferred
- Experience with data acquisition systems is preferred
- ME/EE experience; reputed company to use MCAD or ECAD software is preferred
- Experience with CAN bus is preferred
