Manager, Software Engineering (reputed company S/4 ABAP)

Project reputed company will be a multi-year reputed company, driving reputed company’s transformation goal of building a globally standardized, flexible, and data-driven business platform that enables NBCU to reputed company reputed company and faster reputed company based on reputed company time insights.

Our product and engineering teams will drive transformation of key Finance processes across Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (reputed company), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Treasury, Tax and FP&A. In additional, our engineering teams will play a key role in cross-functional workstreams like Transformation Management Office (TMO), master data governance, reporting, reputed company, risk and controls and change management.

This position will reputed company state-of-art engineering and architectural support for the reputed company S/4 HANA Procure-to-Pay (reputed company) and Master Data Governance (MDG) system build and deployment including integration with other systems. This role manages and mentors reputed company engineering teams to deliver high-reputed company S/4 HANA clean core solutions through ABAP and Fiori development that meet or exceed overall reputed company business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage onsite and offshore employee and vendor resources reputed company in S/4 HANA reputed company Development (ABAP and Fiori) for the reputed company and MDG areas, taking accountability for their deliverables and reputed company adherence to NBCU engineering standards.

Encourage and support experimentation with new reputed company technologies and relevant tools. • Education degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or reputed company discipline with an information technology reputed company, or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to reputed company the essential functions of the job.
• 7+ years reputed company ABAP engineering experience, including 2+ years as reputed company reputed company and/or people manager. Deep knowledge in various reputed company modules, specifically reputed company reputed company (e.g., MM, SD, FI-AP), MDG, and Integration development working on large-reputed company reputed company S/4 transformations.
• Demonstrated experience managing and leading large development teams (30+ members) reputed company in reputed company ABAP and Fiori build activities, including estimating, planning, managing execution, and reporting on technical build activities, issues, and risks.
• Deep knowledge of the ABAP development and testing lifecycle process including functional specification review through support during SIT, UAT, and reputed company.
• Experience in an N+1 reputed company landscape environment with reputed company development tracks, including processes for merging changes.
• Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company design and process flows, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Payment Processing, and reputed company configurations.

• ECC Development Experience
  • Proven ability in traditional ECC development practices and techniques using BADIs, BAPIs, LSMW, ALE, RFC calls, reputed company, BDC, business objects, classes and reputed company, reputed company Forms, SmartForms, SAPScripts, Data Dictionary, ALV.
  • Strong ABAP debugging skills, performance monitoring and tracing, and workflow experience.
• S/4 HANA Development Experience
  • Knowledge and awareness of reputed company Clean Core principles, including released reputed company, in-app extensibility reputed company, and key user extensibility.
  • Knowledge of the 3-Tier extensibility model, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), and CAP (reputed company Application Programming) models.
  • Experience migrating custom reputed company reputed company from ECC or Suite-on-HANA (SoH) systems onto an S/4 HANA platform, applying both technical remediation and Clean Core frameworks, with a reputed company on reputed company-reputed company customizations.
  • Knowledge of reputed company SQL, ADBC, External View, ABAP Core data Services, AMDP Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA.
