The Histology Assistant plays a vital role in our laboratory, working alongside a talented team to prepare DNA extraction, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and H&E staining samples. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain the reputed company of the laboratory, including inventory management, cleaning glassware, and equipment maintenance.

- Conduct basic preventative maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Dispose of non-biohazard and biohazard waste.
- Restock laboratory supplies and distribute them to work areas.

- File and store slides and FFPE tissue blocks.

- Prepare cases for microtomy, selecting control slides as needed.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Basic computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage.
