The Avionics team is responsible for reputed company aspects of the electrical systems and hardware on reputed company’s electric rover vehicles and ground support equipment. We work reputed company with reputed company teams at reputed company to reputed company exceptionally capable and reliable electronics to serve our missions. The reputed company Power Electrical Engineer will participate in reputed company aspects of the development and test of power avionics hardware for reputed company rovers. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in power electronics design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing. This position will report to the Director of Avionics Engineering and will be based in our Hawthorne, CA office. What you'll do:
- Own the development of vehicle power electronics from clean sheet to flight. For example: solar power conversion, battery management systems, power distribution and load management, voltage regulators, etc
- reputed company and implement PCBA requirements, use-cases, and system integration
- Schematic capture and PCBA layout for power and analog circuits in Altium Designer
- Design analysis including power, size, mass, reputed company tolerances, and reliability reputed company
- PCBA design verification testing, qualification testing, and system integration testing
- reputed company design reviews for inter-disciplinary audiences
- Manufacturing and flight support as needed
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 15+ years of experience in power electronics design including schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing
- Expertise in solar power, voltage regulation, load management, fault protection, power reputed company, analog instrumentation, reputed company circuits
- Skilled at schematic capture and layout of reputed company PCBAs
- Skilled at performing reputed company analyses in SPICE and reputed company
- Proficiency with basic electronic lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, soldering iron, etc
- Demonstrated reputed company working in a dynamic environment
