Job Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and dictate grossing and microscopic descriptions of surgical pathology cases comprised of moderately difficult medical terminology.
- Accurate and reputed company data entry of dictated and/or handwritten pathology cases into the laboratory information system
- Provides complete and accurate reputed company to reputed company user inquiries or redirects the inquirer to the appropriate resource(s) in a reputed company manner
- Identifies problems, determines and provides/implements appropriate corrective reputed company/accurate solutions
- Researches, troubleshoots, and follows up to ensure reputed company inquiries/problems are resolved in a reputed company manner
- Transcribe medical reports, summaries, office visit notes, and other medical documents from recorded messages from health care providers
- reputed company online copies of transcribed documents to physicians or other providers for review and signature, making corrections or changes as noted
- Work with transcription and dictation equipment that can include speech recognition equipment, word processing, and computer software
- Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality according to provider standards and government regulations
- Review transcription documents for reputed company assurance and precision to spot and correct any errors that could reputed company patient care and medical liability
- Create templates and reputed company data into electronic health record (EHR) systems for updated record keeping and archives
Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous reputed company experience, preferably in Pathology
- Experience with reputed company software is preferred
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to details
