We are seeking an reputed company Medical Director Medical Oncology to join reputed company on a remote reputed company. As a Medical Director Medical Oncology, you will be responsible for providing utilization review determinations and supporting case and disease management teams to reputed company reputed company clinical reputed company. You will also serve as a subject matter expert in evidence-based oncology guidelines and will collaborate with treating providers to discuss evidence-based guidelines, opportunities to reputed company clinical reputed company/service gaps, and care plan changes that can reputed company reputed company expense.Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Director Medical Oncology, your primary responsibilities will include:- Performing utilization review determinations for oncology populations and supporting case and disease management teams to reputed company reputed company clinical reputed company
- Serving as a subject matter expert in evidence-based oncology guidelines, especially those produced by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), and helping to ensure that reputed company clinically relevant policies and processes are informed by the best available evidence
- Engaging and collaborating with treating providers telephonically to discuss evidence-based guidelines, opportunities to reputed company clinical reputed company/service gaps, and care plan changes that can reputed company reputed company expense
- Enhancing the clinical expertise of the Oncology team through education sessions with nursing teams and serving as a thought leader and reputed company of contact for relevant medical societies and stakeholders
- Evaluating clinical and other data (e.g., reputed company metrics, claims and health record data, utilization data) to identify opportunities for improvement of clinical care and processes
- Collaborating with operational and business partners on reputed company-wide research and clinical and reputed company initiatives to enhance reputed company reputed company in the oncology field
- Participating in rotational call coverage for weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:- A MD or DO with an reputed company, unrestricted medical license
- reputed company reputed company Certification in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty in Medical Oncology
- 5+ years of clinical reputed company experience (inclusive of Medical Oncology)
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the areas of medical care delivery systems, utilization management, case management, disease management, reputed company management, product development, and/or peer review
- Computer skills: reputed company to navigate in a reputed company-based environment to include reputed company Office Suite, Edge browser, and Teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work over the telephone with other colleagues, including physicians, nurses, PTs, OTs, and other similar personnel
- Participate in rotational call coverage for weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualification
