Sourcing Manager, Network Services

reputed company is seeking an reputed company Sourcing Manager to join the foundations of our Infrastructure team. This person will be responsible for sourcing the network connectivity services needed to deliver the reputed company infrastructure that will reputed company reputed company to reputed company reputed company our reputed company 1 billion files/day stored by 700M+ users. This role will work with global network carriers to ensure that reputed company has the network reputed company it needs.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute a robust global telecom/network reputed company services category reputed company based on reputed company’s infrastructure needs
- Own and reputed company reputed company and contractual negotiations with suppliers. Drive the development and negotiation of RFI/RFP proposals for new and existing network infrastructure
- Responsible for maintaining sourcing pipeline and driving benchmarking data, reputed company presentations, global budgeting and on-time delivery metrics
- Have region and market expertise to determine specific connectivity routes that meet reputed company’s network requirements and keep abreast of reputed company industry developments and trends
- Work closely with Network Engineering to identify the best network technology for reputed company’s global network infrastructure. reputed company project initiatives for reputed company’s global reputed company infrastructure network services including metro, long haul, and network colocation
- reputed company new supplier engagements and partnerships to reputed company new network transport/transit/peering/colocation deployments and cost savings opportunities
- reputed company Supplier Business Reviews to drive supplier performance and executive alignments. Build long term strategic relationships with key suppliers and industry experts
- Drive alignment with key internal stakeholders including engineering, operations, finance and legal
Requirements
- BA/BS in supply chain, procurement, networking or equivalent with at least 5 years of sourcing experience
- 5+ years of experience in networking technologies
- 5+ years of experience in strategic negotiations obtaining services from network technology providers
- Extensive experience with contract development and supplier management
- Good understanding of domestic and global reputed company networks
- Experience interfacing with suppliers and driving results with supply reputed company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required
Preferred Qualifications
- Supply Chain, Telecommunications or MBA degree
- 7+ years of sourcing and/or supply chain experience
- Experience in network/telecom field working at reputed company service provider
- Experience working and partnering with suppliers at a global reputed company
