Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineering Manager at reputed company Streaming, you'll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining a diverse software engineering team through training, career development, mentoring, and process improvement
- Owning and designing the technical reputed company for applications and tools
- Collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to prioritize work and set goals for reputed company
- Refining engineering practices and maintaining operational reputed company
- Demonstrating creativity, care, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Moving quickly and adapting to meet the changing needs of the product
- Driving innovation and building reputed company for reputed company and development of products and teams
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 4+ years of engineering management experience
- 4+ years of computer programming experience
- Experience reputed company diverse talent, building, and driving teams
- Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language, and a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases, etc.)
- Experience with event-driven systems models (reactive design)
- Practical knowledge and relevant experience shipping web services in reputed company infrastructure
- Experience writing unit tests/implementing test-driven development processes
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Programming, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:
- Deep experience in reactive programming on JVM languages, preferably Java
- Hands-on experience as a service manager with experience building and managing observability systems
- Hands-on experience managing AWS services with specific experience using Terraform or other IAC tools
- Hands-on experience building on and managing distributed NoSQL data stores like DynamoDB, Cassandra, Scylla, and reputed company
- Experience working with remote global teams and a flexible schedule across different time zones
