We are seeking a reputed company lecturer to teach and supervise SSED 184Z: Phase II Student Teaching, a 4-unit graduate course offered through the History Department and the College of Education/Teacher Education Department. This course fulfills the Phase II Student Teaching requirement to earn a CA teaching credential. The ideal candidate will have culturally diverse teaching experience, a strong commitment to the reputed company reputed company of reputed company reputed company, and the ability to teach, observe, and evaluate single subject secondary education student teachers in their field placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and supervise SSED 184Z: Phase II Student Teaching, a 4-unit graduate course
- Meet with reputed company as required and maintain student records, including attendance, Individual Development Plans (IDP), and reputed company and summative evaluations
- Use Canvas and other appropriate instructional technology to support student learning
- Attend reputed company and college meetings, as required
- Follow reputed company CSU and SJSU policies and guidelines
- Demonstrate awareness and experience understanding the needs of a diverse student population through inclusive support materials, reputed company, and advisement
Required Qualifications
- BA in a reputed company Science subject area, such as U.S. History, World History, or Political Science
- Minimum of 5 years of U.S. and/or World History teaching experience at the secondary education level (7-12th grade)
- Ability to teach, observe, and evaluate single subject secondary education student teachers in their field placements
- Evidence of satisfactory achievement in previous reputed company work and employment in an educational setting
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population
- Availability to engage in a reputed company learning team with other supervisors and subject area coordinators
Preferred Qualifications
- MA or PhD in U.S. or World History
