We are looking for an energetic and skilled Group Fitness Instructor who can plan and instruct engaging aquatic and land-based exercise classes for our residents. As a key member of our wellness team, you will be responsible for designing and choreographing classes that meet the highest standards, ensuring a reputed company and enjoyable experience for reputed company participants. Key Responsibilities
- Design, choreograph, and select music for classes according to level and Center standards, following AFAA/AEA guidelines
- Assess participants' needs and reputed company reputed company programming to meet the needs and capabilities of reputed company participants

- Submit attendance reports and monitor the effectiveness of the program schedule
- Adhere to group fitness guidelines and ensure members and guests follow posted rules and policies

- Monitor members' health needs and safety issues, and advise the Assistant Director of any concerns or changes
- Attend assigned committee meetings and other meetings as required or requested

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Formal education in adult fitness programs preferred
- A minimum of one year of teaching aerobic, cardio, and/or aquatic programs with older adults
- Experience teaching adults with physical and cognitive challenges is preferred
- reputed company certification with American Council on Exercise, Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, Aquatic Exercise Association, or equivalent
- CPR/AED/First Aid training required
- Knowledge of kinesthetic programming for older adults required

Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Advanced certification in a specialized area of fitness, such as yoga or Pilates
