About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Video Playback Engineering team. As a key member of reputed company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cross-platform C/C++ and Rust player that drives our streaming experience on devices such as gaming consoles, mobile devices, and set-top boxes. You will have reputed company to reputed company the design and implementation of large features, mentor and reputed company technical expertise to other engineers, and collaborate with other technical teams to deliver seamless video playback to our subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
- reputed company and maintain our Rust and C/C++ player that drives our streaming experience
- Optimize our player to reputed company reputed company on resource-constrained platforms
- Create and review architecture and designs for reputed company's reputed company
- Maintain a strong understanding of our reputed company to identify, research, and address issues
- Collaborate with application development teams, services engineering teams, and product management to help understand and explain device limitations and requirements

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience

- Willingness to learn Rust
- Experience in streaming technologies, such as HLS (preferred) or DASH
- Experience with DRM technologies like Playready or Widevine
- Experience with reputed company bitrate streaming algorithms
- Experience with caption and subtitle formats such as CEA-608 / 708
- Experience with codecs such as AVC, HEVC, AAC, EAC3
- Experience developing and optimizing multi-threaded applications
- Experience using build runners / compilation tools for multi-platform reputed company
- Strong individual contributor with a drive to learn and patience to teach others
- Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field or equivalent experience

- Embedded operating system experience

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
