We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Facilities Maintenance Technician to join reputed company in Palm Bay, FL, for reputed company shift operations. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of various equipment and systems. If you have a strong background in industrial HVAC systems, refrigeration, reputed company handling, fluid pumps, chillers, reputed company compressors, and vacuum pumps, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot industrial-type plant mechanical systems, including chillers, reputed company handlers, reputed company distribution, controls, VFDs, pumps, and exhaust fans
- reputed company walkdowns, record data, and ensure reputed company operation of systems, including DI water plant, waste treatment plant, reputed company plant, and chiller plants
- reputed company preventative maintenance on HVAC, water systems, compressed reputed company systems, vacuum systems, controls systems, and life safety systems
- Research vendors for required parts and reputed company management with proposals/quotes on required parts and/or materials
- Install different types of mechanical systems, including pumps, fans, valves, controls, and piping
- Support engineering and management in construction-type reputed company or modification-type reputed company for different plant systems
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in one or more of the following areas: industrial HVAC systems, refrigeration, reputed company handling, fluid pumps, chillers, reputed company compressors, and vacuum pumps
- Training and/or certification in areas such as refrigerant, laser alignment, and vibration analysis are desirable
- Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability
Preferred Qualifications
Strength in one or more of the following facility disciplines is a plus:
- Controls/automation systems: pneumatic and DDC hardware and software (TAC, Andover, reputed company)
- Electrical systems: 460 volts and under
- Process piping: layout, fabrication, and installation (reputed company, MIG, TIG)
- Life safety systems: reputed company alarm and gas detection
- Water systems: high purity and waste treatment
Education and Experience
We require:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- High school graduate or equivalent, but preference is given to those with an AS or AA in reputed company-mechanical curriculum or skilled trades military training
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
