MUST LIVE reputed company 50 MILES OF THESE LOCATIONS: Sacramento, CAModesto, CAEmeryville, CA DescriptionThe authorization coordinator position is responsible for performing the appropriate processes to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, ensure insurance coverage, and determine if prior authorization is needed for said order. If needed, obtain authorization for test, therapies or referral to specialist and document in the patient electronic medical record. This position will facilitate responses to patient and provider inquiries regarding authorizations and referrals reputed company turnaround standards. This position will facilitate responses to patient and provider inquiries regarding authorizations and referrals reputed company turnaround standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsReferral Entry Functions• Monitor and resolve referral/authorization orders in the Referral Pool in reputed company in a reputed company manner Monitor daily urgent and pending referrals to ensure timeliness standards are met and customer service is maximized according to reputed company workflows Ensure completeness and accuracy of referrals by confirming CPT, ICD and/or HCPCS codes, requested provider, and/or reputed company of service Verify insurance is accepted by the reputed company for reputed company incoming referrals Obtain added medical information from providers and/or office staff as necessary for incoming referrals Process referrals per reputed company work Process referrals per health plan reputed company and requirements reputed company necessary medical information to obtain final determinations reputed company required Research reputed company no authorization denials and submit for retro authorizations Obtain appropriate approval for requested orders Maintain accuracy with attention to detail in reputed company referral• Proactively researches problem issues reputed company to own work, and recommends resolutionsExperience LevelIntermediate LevelPay and BenefitsThe pay reputed company for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on reputed company classification and length of employment.
