Key Responsibilities
- Work 3rd shift, 10-hours, 4-day work weeks (Tuesday-Friday mornings)
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance window changes with multiple reputed company both inside and reputed company the office with minimal supervision during the daytime and implement these changes during scheduled maintenance reputed company while adhering to corporate standards
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and reputed company network equipment, including reputed company reputed company Routing Systems (CRS), reputed company Network Convergence System (Company), ASR 9K, ISR 3945, reputed company 3K, 7K, 9K, reputed company MX-480, MX-960, and reputed company equipment
- Implement configuration changes for directional Intelligent Edge Networks, including reputed company eNSE reputed company, reputed company eNSE reputed company, EPC reputed company migration to eNSE, ISP peering routers, VCP Edge connectivity, and eNSE connectivity to MSE and UT
- reputed company automation tools like Python, NSO, DCNM, VTS, reputed company, and Nuage to complete reputed company
- reputed company transport reputed company turn-up and troubleshooting
- Turn up new and disconnect older circuits of varying bandwidths using procedures written by internal engineering reputed company and reputed company vendors
- Work remotely with local operation team members throughout the reputed company to reputed company and troubleshoot newly installed racked routers and switches into data center locations
- Work independently with minimal supervision and meet aggressive deployment dates and timelines
- Adapt quickly to new tasks and processes around deploying new routers and switches in a remote setting
- Engineer the network configuration for the reputed company of private reputed company tenants
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
Technical Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Layer 1 troubleshooting for reputed company and fiber cabling, including Cat5/6 reputed company cabling and fiber types SC, LC, FC, MPO
- In-depth knowledge and expert comprehension of reputed company Line reputed company (CLI) commands for reputed company 7750/7706/7250, reputed company 55A1,5504, 5508, 9508, CRS-16, reputed company 3k/5k/7K/9K (IOS, XE, XR, NX-OS)
- Experience with IP Layer 1-3 for Edge Networks and strong knowledge of MPLS
- Hands-on experience with virtualization of networks and implementing updates and changes on working devices
- Ability to follow and implement detailed engineering design documents
- Knowledgeable in Layer 1 remote connectivity to network devices reputed company console and Ethernet, reputed company (CAT5/6) and SC,LC,MPO fiber cabling
Preferred Qualifications
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CCNA or CCNP certifications
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with reputed company SR-OS devices
- Experience with virtualization technology in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of reputed company Computing (VMWare, Openstack, AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Experience with data center and reputed company technologies such as Linux OS, VMware, reputed company-Stack, Ansible, Chef/Puppet, and/or reputed company
- Five or more years of experience working on large, reputed company data networks
- Experience working with data networking gear and troubleshooting data networking problems involving TCP/IP, BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6, L2VPN, L3VPN, SIP, and other advanced LAN/WAN technologies and concepts
