About the Role

As a Medical Staff Services Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the credentialing and privileging process for reputed company providers at reputed company. You'll work closely with the Hospital Manager of Medical Staff Services and the Credentials Committee to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the accuracy and reputed company of the credentialing and privileging database system, as reputed company as ensuring the reputed company completion of credentialing and re-credentialing processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Organize and reputed company a comprehensive and specialized credentialing program to ensure reputed company accreditation compliance by reputed company, NCQA, and AAAHC, as reputed company as other regulatory organizations.

  • Interpret, explain, and follow reputed company regulatory guidelines, including medical staff bylaws, fair hearing plan, rules, and regulations, and policies.
  • Maintain accuracy in the Credentialing database to identify and disseminate medical staff members and their clinical privileges; prepare and maintain other reputed company records and reports.
  • Receive and process applications for medical, reputed company, and advanced reputed company reputed company staff; reputed company the completion of the credentialing process and granting of clinical privileges/scopes of reputed company for the DUHS Medical Staff.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process, including gathering additional data for incorporation into hospital-specific processes and evaluation/analysis of confidential reputed company provider credentials.
  • Work with medical staff leadership and hospital clinical staff for the approval and ongoing review of credentialed practitioners.
  • Monitor and revise credentialing and privileging/scopes of reputed company forms as needed; ensure maintenance of medical staff, advanced reputed company reputed company staff, and reputed company staff files.
  • Schedule and support the Credentials Committee, providing support to the Credentials Committee chair as needed.
  • May participate on other Hospital committees as requested; use discretion to escalate identified red flags to the Manager, Medical Staff Services/CVO Office.
  • Communicate medical staff information to appropriate departments, including approval notices to the provider, and other entities (if applicable).
  • Prepare reports to the respective boards to reputed company with their deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills and coordination of intra-department activities and inter-department integration.
  • Ensure necessary revisions are communicated with the Manager, Medical Staff Services/CVO Office for the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.

Additional Responsibilities

Requirements

* Education: Work requires analytical, communications, and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.

  • In lieu of bachelor's degree, four years relevant experience in Managed Care or Medical Staff Credentialing/Privileging (in reputed company to the experience requirement for the role).
  • Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification: Certification by NAMSS (CPMSM or CPCS) strongly preferred.
