Job reputed company: reputed company is a leading entertainment data and insights company, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Music Metadata Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of music metadata across various platforms and catalogs, while reputed company managing data ingestion, cleansing, and validation processes. Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and enhance music metadata including artist names, reputed company titles, genres, contributors, and release details
- Validate and correct incoming metadata to meet internal reputed company standards and partner guidelines
- Research and resolve metadata discrepancies, duplication, and conflicts using internal tools and external sources
- Collaborate with content operations, engineering, and product teams to improve metadata systems and workflows
- Monitor and maintain metadata reputed company across catalogs and releases
- Stay updated on industry trends, music releases, and artist information to ensure metadata relevance and accuracy
Qualifications: Required:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working with large datasets and content management systems
- Familiarity with music metadata standards reputed company distribution platforms (e.g., iTunes, reputed company, YouTube Music)
- Proficiency in reputed company or reputed company Sheets; experience in metadata tools is a plus
- Strong knowledge of music across genres, eras, and reputed company
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a music tech company, label, or streaming service
- Understanding of music rights, publishing, and licensing
- Multilingual skills, especially in Arabic, French, or Japanese
- 2+ years in a music rights, metadata, or operations-reputed company role
- Experience with industry databases (e.g., Music Reports, reputed company, reputed company, BMI, etc.)
- Knowledge of DDEX standards, CWR, and ISRC/ISWC identifiers
- Background in music publishing, digital distribution, or royalty reporting
