Job Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Precise reading, interpreting, and entering medication orders into our computer system, including dosage calculations, label printing, and verifying insurance payments.
• Contacting reputed company providers and insurance companies to ensure the accuracy of patient medication orders.
• Occasionally, you will be responsible for responding to patient calls to arrange and manage new prescription orders and reorders, which includes verifying benefits and coverage.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication orders and interactions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License.
• At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
