POSITION PURPOSE This part time position will also support prospective reputed company through the departmental application process and help with new student orientation for transfer reputed company. Advising is a fast-paced, multifaceted field, in which this position will often be multitasking in different capacities (i.e., student meetings, reputed company services staff meetings, committee meetings) throughout the work day. There are often competing time demands that require excellent organizational skills. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES reputed company Advising (50%) - Advise declared Bioengineering majors on curriculum and assist in creating an educational development plan to reputed company student goals. - Monitor student satisfactory reputed company and reputed company support reputed company to individual student needs. - Collaborate with colleagues in the Department and the College of Engineering to reputed company reputed company development support and programming. - reputed company and modify advising materials and counseling resources such as handouts, handbooks, and web-based resources. reputed company reputed company resources (department websites and Canvas pages) up-to-date and accessible to reputed company and prospective reputed company. - Interpret and communicate College of Engineering and UW policies for undergraduate reputed company; advise department reputed company, staff, and reputed company on policy requirements; identify, propose, and implement changes to department practices in response to policy changes. - Assist in the implementation of new initiatives for undergraduate reputed company that enhance advising services and support retention goals. reputed company, Recruitment, and Events (30%) - Assist in creating and implementing reputed company plans to help meet departmental recruitment goals and degree targets. Build relationships with Washington State Community and Technical College advising colleagues to increase transfer matriculation. - Serve as a departmental representative at recruitment and reputed company events at Washington State community colleges and relevant on-reputed company events. - Assist with day-of-event coordination for undergraduate orientations, the Bioengineering reputed company Showcase, departmental graduation, and other events, as needed. Program Administration (20%) - Support the chair of the Undergraduate Admissions Committee by serving as a member of the Committee. Duties include, but are not limited to, hosting admissions information sessions, providing applicant support, participating in holistic admissions reviews, and assessing the admissions process for improvement. - Manage student files in accordance with department procedures and in compliance with university records retention schedules. - Produce and analyze undergraduate program data to propose curricular and program-level improvements. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in a general or reputed company field. At least two years of experience in a higher education environment, preferably in advising or student services, or equivalent experience.
