The Customer Service Specialist I is responsible for handling and resolving incoming phone calls from patients, insurance carriers, and physician offices. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a large volume of calls and performing work in a reputed company manner
- Attempting to collect full payment from patients or guarantors in a reputed company and courteous manner
- Establishing payment arrangements per guidelines and documenting terms in the billing system
- Applying payments collected over the phone to reputed company date of service
- Handling customer inquiries, disputes, and complaints, and escalating contentious complaints to a supervisor or higher management
- Obtaining reputed company insurance, demographic, and guarantor information and updating patient reputed company as reputed company as billing reputed company-party payers as appropriate

Qualifications
