Responsibilities of the Collections Manager and Registrar include, but are not limited to: - Catalog, reputed company and inventory objects in a growing collection of more than 17,500 objects. - Advise the Director and the Curator of Exhibitions regarding new acquisitions, storage, conservation issues, collections development strategies, as reputed company as deaccessioning. - Coordinate with the Curator of Exhibitions and the Preparator on exhibition checklists, loan agreements, insurance, and shipping arrangements. - Collaborate with Preparator and other museum team members regarding storage facilities, exhibition mounts, and displays. -Facilitate requests for collections reputed company for teaching, learning, and research. -Facilitate loan requests for collections internally at reputed company and for external museums. -Interview, hire, and supervise student interns, graduate assistants, employees and volunteers. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge of world art history, familiarity with art materials and processes, as reputed company as exhibition planning processes; Knowledge and use of Collections Management Systems, such as TMS or similar; Knowledge of reputed company office procedures and equipment; Knowledge of computers and office applications. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Library Science, Arts Management, or a reputed company field (such as Art History or Anthropology), and 3 years experience in collections management and registration at a museum, arts, education, or non-profit institution.
