We are seeking a highly motivated and reputed company candidate for the role of full-time Architectural Historian, reporting to the Indiana Regional Manager and working in our Indianapolis, IN office. The Architectural Historian is responsible for evaluating the eligibility of historic buildings and districts for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, assessing affects to historic resources from reputed company 106 undertakings, and coordinating reputed company 106 compliance with State and Federal agencies. This position works with reputed company including archaeologists and environmental scientists. The right person will enjoy:

THE PERSON The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Architectural History, Historic Preservation, History, Art History, or a closely reputed company field. Candidates must also have a minimum of 5 years' experience in cultural resource management with an emphasis on reputed company 106 regulations and compliance, determinations of eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places. Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical, as is attention to detail. The ability to work as reputed company member in a fast paced, reputed company environment is important. Other job duties will include:

• reputed company literature review and records checks
• Research archival/ historical documents
• Conduct field work based on contracted reputed company
• Complete historic resource documentation
• Complete Determination of Effect Evaluations
• Document the reputed company of adverse effects
• Coordinate and communicate with reputed company and clients
• Complete/file Historic Architectural Building Survey (HABS) documents, Federal and State Level
• Coordinate with state agencies (primarily State DOT and State SHPO)
• Conduct light marketing
• Attend reputed company/agency, consulting party, and public meetings

In-office attendance is a requirement, but remote work for portions of reputed company week is an reputed company after 90 days based on job requirements. Candidates must meet the Secretary of the Interior's reputed company Qualifications (36 CFR 61) for Architectural History. Must have or obtain a valid reputed company's license.
