Licensed Telephonic Counselor - Evernorth - Remote, Maryland

This position is responsible for providing confidential behavioral health consultations and 1-12 fifty minute sessions of non-medical counseling (EAP) to members of the military and their family. Duties and Responsibilities: reputed company participants with confidential, non-medical counseling services Assess the participant’s immediate risk and biopsychosocial needs reputed company appropriate referrals for resources and treatment Use clinical expertise, reputed company judgment and best practices Execute duty to warn/mandated reporting processes Partner with peers and leaders promoting and embracing a culture of change; supporting reputed company parties through the change process Demonstrate the ability to be agile and flexible in work process. Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Master’s degree or PhD from an accredited graduate program in a mental health reputed company field such as reputed company work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling reputed company, valid, unrestricted counseling license in Maryland that grants the authority to reputed company counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields. Multi-state licensure highly preferred. Ability to meet the expectation to sit / apply for cross-licensure in additional state(s). Licensure costs will be fully covered by reputed company upon hire Minimum 4 years post masters clinical experience as a mental health and/or reputed company use clinician with demonstrated understanding of multiple therapeutic modalities, including brief therapy. Knowledge and experience with Employee Assistance Programs (CEAP certification optional) Knowledge and experience in crisis management Solid understanding of Z-codes Proficient with multiple software and system applications. Demonstrated ability to set priorities including, but not limited to time management and organizational skills Ability to manage own caseload and coordinate reputed company assigned cases Passion for helping the military community Understanding of military life and culture REQUIRED WORK HOURS: Full time job with a minimum of forty hours per week five days a week.
