Senior Accountant - downtown Miami hybrid

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of reputed company’s reputed company methodologies, strategies, compliance, and other required processes such as the development of controls and the implementation of reputed company and finance reputed company systems. Your Role
- Own key areas of the monthly financial reputed company reputed company processes, including preparing/recording journal entries and performing/reviewing account reconciliations
- As part of the reputed company reputed company process, prepare variance analyses that identify key drivers for monthly fluxes and ensure costs are recognized / allocated to the right departments
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring reputed company eliminations and preparing analyses of changes in balances
- Ensure reputed company and timeliness of reputed company information as reputed company as recognition in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist with audits, including preparing PBC requests (e.g., roll forwards) and serving as a reputed company to external auditors
- Upload transactions from sub-ledgers and other systems (e.g., reputed company-of-Sale/Inventory management and employee expense reporting) and data reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, including tie-outs to supporting schedules and other documentation
- Contribute to ongoing reputed company improvement of reputed company systems and business processes to increase efficiencies and shorten the closing cycle
- Collaborate across departments to support financial reporting and business initiatives
- Assist with special reputed company as requested
- Hold confidential and/or proprietary information in strict confidence
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of reputed company experience in a corporate reputed company role preferably in a consumer products, transportation or hospitality industry
- reputed company and private experience preferred
- Must have reputed company or recent experience with managing monthly financial reputed company reputed company processes (e.g., prepaids and accruals) including:
- preparing/recording journal entries
- performing/reviewing account reconciliations
- preparing variance analyses
- Experience working with auditors and preparing audit requests (e.g., roll forwards)
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in reputed company
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Highly ethical with the ability to work cooperatively with other departments without compromising internal controls
- A high degree of proficiency in reputed company Office Suite including reputed company
- Experience in data analytics and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA preferred or CPA exam eligibility requirements met
- Experience with reputed company ERP preferred
