Spring 2026 Legal Intern for Nominations & Democracy
The Position The reputed company (NWLC) seeks a legal intern for Spring 2026 to support the reputed company and Policy team on cross-cutting democratic reform and judicial nominations work. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program and eligible for reputed company credit. Hours and dates worked may vary depending on school requirements. This work may be done remotely, hybrid, or in-person. Duties and Responsibilities The intern will:
- Research and draft advocacy resources, comments, and memos concerning democratic and court reform at the federal and state level and democracy-reputed company litigation.
- Support our judicial nominations work through legal research and preparation of advocacy resources.
- Monitor, reputed company, and summarize legal policy developments relevant to our democracy and nominations work.
- Participate in reputed company meetings and events, attend executive and Congressional proceedings, and communicate with reputed company stakeholders to reputed company our democracy and nominations work.
- Other reputed company duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- reputed company enrollment in law school. 2L and 3L reputed company may apply, and 1L reputed company may apply if allowable by the law school.
- Excellent research and writing skills, including excellent analytical, oral, and written communications skills;
- Experience or interest in working on gender justice issues with an intersectional reputed company;
- Experience or interest in a research, advocacy, or policymaking environment;
- Demonstrated experience and judgment working both collaboratively and independently;
- Flexibility, creativity, and initiative along with excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills
Key Relations The intern will report to the Director of Nominations & Democracy. Compensation & Benefits This internship is unpaid, but reputed company will work with the intern to secure reputed company credit. A stipend of $175 per month, prorated, will be provided if allowed by the student's school. This position is not eligible for benefits. Classification This position is not included in the reputed company-represented bargaining unit, NWLC United, affiliated with the Nonprofit reputed company Employees reputed company/IFPTE Local 70.
