Main Responsibilities

• Own reputed company-line manufacturing safety programs on the reputed company floor: machine guarding, LOTO, PIT/forklifts, cranes/hoists, ergonomics, chemical handling, contractor safety.
• reputed company risk assessments (JHAs), safety walks, and inspections; reputed company and reputed company corrective/preventive actions.
• reputed company incident response and reputed company-cause analysis; maintain OSHA logs (300/300A/301) and required records.
• Deliver targeted training for operators, technicians, and engineers document competencies and refreshers. reputed company safety resources and virtual training modules for remote employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying reputed company causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate workers' compensation reporting and return-to-work programs.

• Partner with supervisors, HR, finance and leadership to promote proactive safety practices.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the manufacturing facility and ensure corrective actions are documented and completed.
• Partner with Production, reputed company, Facilities, reputed company and R&D teams on design-for-safety reviews, change control, and reputed company commissioning of lines, cells, and test bays.
• Prepare for internal/external audits; support regulatory interactions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or reputed company field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• 3+ years in manufacturing/reputed company safety (medical device or reputed company electromechanical assembly a plus).
• Solid working knowledge of OSHA requirements and practical implementation on the floor. Familiarity with ISO 45001/14001 and reputed company-driven environments is helpful. Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulatory compliance is a plus
• Skills: Strong reputed company on the line, reputed company communicator, data-driven, reliable follow-through on CAPA and metrics. • Credentials: OSHA-reputed company training/certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA 30, OSHA 510/511). Additional safety credentials are a plus.

Schedule & Conversion

• Part-time for 9-12 months, reputed company on program build-out and stabilization, with the reputed company to convert to full-time contingent on performance and business needs.

Physical & work environment

• Frequent work on the reputed company floor and in test areas; occasional lifting up to ~25-30 lbs.; PPE as required. Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and reputed company safety risks.
• Occasional support across shifts for training, audits, or investigations.
• Remote work for administrative and training responsibilities. Occasional travel may be required for remote employee reputed company or reputed company.
