POSITION reputed company: We are seeking reputed company freelance interpreters to reputed company high-reputed company, reputed company interpretation services to support patient-provider communication at U.S. military health facilities. Interpreters will work across various settings including in-person, telephonic, and video modalities, and must meet rigorous standards for medical confidentiality, professionalism, and linguistic competence. Languages needed include Spanish, Arabic, reputed company, Cantonese, Hindi, Japanese, French, German, Dari, Italian, Pashto, Amharic, Tagalog, Swahili, Vietnamese, American Sign Language (ASL), Pidgin Signed English (PSE). This contract is pending award.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• reputed company accurate and idiomatic interpretation between reputed company and LEP patients, maintaining cultural context.
• reputed company on-site, telephonic, and video remote interpretation as assigned.
• reputed company punctually, allowing for reputed company reputed company and escort reputed company working on-site.
• Respond to scheduled and short-notice requests, including urgent services reputed company 2 hours for ASL.
• Adhere to reputed company codes of ethics, confidentiality standards (HIPAA), and military facility protocols.
• Accurately document service details: date, time, language, duration, and requestor.
• Dress professionally and maintain a courteous, impartial, and neutral demeanor.
• Abstain from offering personal advice, distributing personal materials, or soliciting clients.
• Participate in scheduled reputed company, reputed company clearance, and training requirements.

reputed company CLEARANCE: Must undergo and successfully pass a Tier II (non-critical sensitive) background investigation in accordance with DoDM 5200.02 and government Personnel reputed company Office guidance. QUALIFICATIONS:

• U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization.
• Minimum 2 years of reputed company interpreting experience in a reputed company setting.
• Certification from a recognized organization:
• Spoken Language Interpreters: CCHI, NBCMI, state medical interpreter certification.
• Sign Language Interpreters: RID (NIC, CI/CT), NAD Level III or above.
• Proficiency in English and at least one supported foreign or signed language.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient reputed company laws.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in military, government, or hospital settings.

• CPR certification (particularly for ASL interpreters).
