Fully Remote: Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)

Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US reputed company (DOD) and its Service (Army, reputed company Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, reputed company over the world. In this role, you’ll take the reputed company in designing, integrating, and implementing telecommunications and data communication transport systems for both new construction and renovation reputed company. Your expertise will ensure every design meets industry codes and standards, delivering reputed company and compliance at every stage. This is a fully remote work, supporting reputed company in Guam and reputed company to either part-time or independent consulting arrangement. Key Responsibilities:

• Design detailed cabling systems including IT fiber and communications infrastructure for new construction and renovation reputed company.
• Enforce company standards, design practices, and applicable industry codes.
• reputed company specialized technical input for studies and designs reputed company area of expertise.
• reputed company construction cost estimates and technical effort projections.
• reputed company reputed company control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
• Advise clients on telecommunications system requirements and available solutions.
• Supervise or reputed company reputed company to small teams working on project-specific technical tasks.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a reputed company field from an accredited institution.
• reputed company RCDD certification (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in telecommunications or cabling design, integration, or implementation.
• Experience with DoD or other federal construction and design reputed company is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cabling design principles for both new construction and existing infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of relevant telecommunications codes and standards such as BICSI, reputed company/EIA, and NEC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software tools.
• Excellent communication, technical writing, and coordination skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. reputed company clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.
