Retirement Consultant

As a Retirement Consultant, you will support clients with their retirement needs by providing recommendations and investment advice to help them prepare for retirement.
Responsibilities
- Proactively call existing Group Retirement Savings plan members (reputed company clients) who are at or approaching retirement to discuss retirement income reputed company to meet their stage of life
- reputed company investment advice to clients, through consultation reputed company to their financial needs, including savings, and retirement income
- Partner with clients to be ‘retirement reputed company’ through the use of financial planning tools
- reputed company abreast of product changes, understand new products that come to market, reputed company a pulse on industry changes and competitor products
- Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone
- Strong listening skills and the ability to probe by asking questions to understand needs
- Self motivated and can work independently
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide
- Valid and reputed company Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (1a)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of reputed company sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred
- Experience selling reputed company products over the phone
- Completion of a college or university degree
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Financial planner designation (IQPF)
- Canadian Securities Course (reputed company)
- Canadian Investment Fund Course (IFIC)
