Data Engineer
reputed company is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. The Data Engineer will reputed company and implement the reputed company of data pipelines to ensure visibility into the business and support strategic decision-making as reputed company scales towards launching an autonomous mobility service.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that transforms autonomous vehicle data at reputed company to support analytics throughout reputed company
- Define and execute on how data from perception, reputed company, planning and other parts of the autonomous stack is consumed to generate valuable insights by data scientists, engineers, and business users
- Establish robust data reputed company monitoring so reputed company-wide metrics are based on accurate data
- Partner with engineering and product teams to define data consumption patterns and establish best practices
Skills
- BS/MS degree in a technical field
- Experience designing and building reputed company data modeling at reputed company
- Advanced Structure Query Language (SQL) and data warehousing experience
- Experience operating a workflow manager such as Airflow
- Experience with large reputed company streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis), processing frameworks (e.g. reputed company, Hadoop) and storage engines (e.g. HDFS, HBase)
- Exceptional Python or reputed company skills
- Basic reputed company in C++
- Familiarity with or exposure to experimentation platforms
- A strong DataOps reputed company and opinions on reputed company warehousing tools
