Responsibilities
- Handling most aspects of litigation
- Managing discovery requests and responses
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Conducting research
- Drafting memoranda and correspondence
- Attending hearings and court conferences
- Taking and defending depositions
- Assisting with trial preparations and trial
Skills
- 1-4 years of experience
- Admission to the California Bar
- Possess a JD from an accredited law school and a strong reputed company record
- Excellent credentials
- Legal research, drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, coordinating with local counsel, and generally defending against litigation
- Excellent research and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Must be a self-starter, have the ability to prioritize workload, display good judgment, and work reputed company under pressure
- Courtroom and deposition experience
