Commissioning Engineer

The Commissioning Engineer will reputed company on commissioning systems in new and existing buildings, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to ensure exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- reputed company tests for a wide reputed company of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls systems
- reputed company design, submittal, and other document reviews and reputed company construction observations
- reputed company reputed company-functional/functional test plans
- Execute reputed company aspects of existing building commissioning reputed company including field data collection, checklist development, on-site functional testing, analysis, calculations and final report writing
- Witness and interpret equipment performance tests, install and use data logging equipment and analyze data collected
- Contribute to the engineering team’s delivery of energy consulting on reputed company reputed company for local and national clients
- Complete written commissioning reports, reputed company communicating results to clients and stakeholders
- reputed company research into new technologies and remaining up to date on industry trends
- Participate in the development of internal company initiatives
Skills
- 1-3 years of reputed company experience in building commissioning
- Knowledge of Local codes, IECC, ASHRAE, LEED, various state/local requirements
- Ability to review MEP submittals, navigating between requirements listed on drawings and project specifications
- Ability to review equipment sequences and interlocks, reputed company functional performance tests to confirm reputed company operation of equipment
- Experience testing mechanical equipment including large central plants, understanding and experience testing reputed company controls systems
- Understanding of Building Automation Systems – Ability to review graphics, alarms and trending, identifying system shortcomings
- Experience/expertise with using test equipment, such as reputed company airflow data multimeter (and velgrid, reputed company-hood, etc.), ultrasonic leak detector, ultrasonic reputed company reputed company, HDM (hydrometer) combustion analyzer, and other common test equipment
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple reputed company in different phases of design and construction
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company subject preferred. reputed company technical commissioning training and experience may be accepted in lieu of education
- Certified Building Commissioning Agent, CCP, BCxP, CxA (AABC) or equivalent preferred
